I ve had my ears pierced for a while now and for months there has been a white bubble a little to the left of the hole on the right ear. There s a bubble on the back too. I don t wear earrings often anymore because it turns the bubble red. I ve tried popping the bubble but it just bleeds a little and turns really red and goes back to its original size and shape. How do I get rid of this?
Understanding your concern. As per your query you have symptoms of white bubble on pierced ear which is mainly because of infection which occur during piercing due to which wound does not heal properly and pus discharge and pain occurs. Need not to owrry. Well this is very common problem during piercing, need not to panic about it. Healing can take 2-4 weeks. If symptoms keeps on persisting visit ENT specialist once and get it examined. Maintain hygiene of that area. Keep wound clean with betadine. Take proper course of antibiotics. If pus still persists drainage under anesthesia is the solution of your problem. Apply antiseptic lotion as well locally. If there is delayed healing due to irritation of ring, remove the rings for few days and re apply after healing.
