How Do I Postpone My Period?

Hi Dr. How r u i hope u alright and taking good care of ur self. Sir i need to ask u abt my menses. Im going married on 26march 2014 and the dates of priode is started on 25march just before oneday on my mariage so can u pls guide me how can i start this pill?Also tell me if its get any sideeffect? m waiting your reply thak u soo much

Congratulations on your marriage and wish you a happy married life. Regarding the pill, you can take tablet deviry 10 mg twice daily beginning from 24 or 23 to be on the safer side. Take it for 5 days. The periods will come after stopping the tablet within the next 7 days. Thus it will help tide over the marriage period.

The side effects are mostly nausea and vomiting can be minimised if tablet is taken with meals.
