Hi,

Enlarged lymph nodes in the neck is due to infection in the throat or tonsillitis or lung or head and neck, etc. Other possibilities like tuberculosis or lymphoma or cytomegalovirus infection or retroviral diseases etc.

Until examination is done, it is difficult to say what it is. You may need lymph node biopsy and pathological examination. Please consult your physician, he will examine and treat you according to the report.

Hope I have answered your query.
Let me know if I can assist you further.
