How Does Inositol Hexaphosphate Reduce Blood Sugar Levels That Are Elevated?

I have been taking 2 capsules in the morning on an empty stomach for 3 months for high blood sugar readings hovering around 250, and A1C 7.4. Since taking Ip6 Inositol my blood sugars now hover around 100 and my most recent A1C is 6.2.How does this product reduce sugar levels?
