How does vesicare work? Saturday today, just on vesicare and i don t have anappoitment until Tuesday. Was given vesicare to try if frequency started again. Checked urine test strip and said I had mid level White cells. Pretty miserable. With constant urination for last two days. How long until I might find some kind of relief?
The Vesicare contains Solifenacin which is an antagonist of muscarinic receptors of the urinary bladder muscle, preventing its contraction and helping the symptoms of recurrent bladder contractions giving urge to urinate.
It may take a period of 2-3 days to provide the best results.
Associated with that due care has to be taken to
- control the underlying infection in urinary system
- plenty of liquids
- antibiotics according to the urine culture
- local part hygiene
- avoidance of sexual intercourse if active
- control of blood sugar and other vital parameters.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
