Hello , Diabetes is not an infective disease, so there is no question of Infection, But yes certainly it can be acquired depending on presence of risk factors, such as Heridity, Advancing age, Metabolic Syndrome, Obesity, Sedentary life style, etc... , Thanks ... take care...
DIABETES IS A METABOLIC DISORDER MAINLY INVOLVED WITH METABOLISM OF SUGARS AND LIPIDS.
IT IS ACQUIRED WHEN THE POTENCY OF THE BETA CELLS IN PANCREAS TO PRODUCE INSULIN DECREASES.
INSULIN IS A ANABOLIC HARMONE WHICH DECREASES THE BLOOD SUGAR LEVELS IN THE BLOOD.
SO WHEN EVER THE PRODUCTION OR ACTION OF INSULIN GETS IMPAIRED IN THE BODY THEN DIABETES OCCURS.
