How Does One Deal With A Small, Pea Sized, Hard Lump On The Forehead Of A 5-month-old Infant?

MyHi, can I answer your health question? Please type your question here...my 5 month old grandson has developed a small pea size very hard lump on his temple. He has no pain when the doctor presses it. The doctor just wants to wait for awhile to see what happens, is this wise?? He thinks it is a growth on the skull.

General Surgeon 's  Response
Hi,

It is most likely benign. I would recommend consultation with a pediatrician, just to be safe.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

General Surgeon Dr. Bhagyesh V. Patel's  Response
Hello,

As per my surgical experience, the growth on forehead can be soft tissue lesion, developing bone growth or else.

At present, only wait and watch policy must be observed as rightly said by his doctor.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
