I am 62 years old and have ruptured my outer Proximal bicep tendon in my right arm. 10 days ago. I am right handed.
I understnad that these are sometimes not repaired, and am wondering what the downside of non-repair will be to the activities that I want to Continue.
I golf, fish, install kitchen cabinets, remodel and refurbish homes. So, I intend to remain active for a long time.
Is there any benefit to having the tendon repaired? Any downside risks to repair?
Thanks
