How Does Taking Primolut N Affect Pregnancy And Should Abortion Be Considered?
Hi.. My last period start date was on oct 20th. And on nov 26 th i have done pregnancy trat and it was negative.. then i have taken primolut N 5 mg for 5 days to postpone periods since we had to do house warming on dec 2nd.. until dec 8th i didn’t get any periods.. i have done pregnancy test and it was positive.. will there be any effect to the fetus… should i go for abortion ? Please suggest

Studies have shown that, though the chances are rare, still use of Primolut-N can increase the chances of birth defects like cleft palate, cleft lip, neural tube defects as well as certain heart defects. It may also, increase the chances of abortion or pre-term delivery. About this, it will be better to see your doctor, for further steps to be taken.
