Hello,

Alzheimers is usually a disease of the old and if associated with Genetic mutations can be seen as early as 30 years. The earliest symptom is memory loss that disrupts normal life followed by other symptoms like solving problems, completing familiar tasks or confusion with time and place.
There are numerous causes of Dementia and Alzheimers is one of them.
Alzheimers is a clinical diagnosis after ruling out other causes of Dementia. As I said earlier, early onset is rare. Look for any family history (anybody in the family suffering from similar symptoms). If you are still not sure, consult your doctor to rule out other causes of memory loss and get a confirmation of Alzheimers.

Hope I have answered your query. If you have any further questions, I will be here to answer.
