My husband and I had unprotected sex on the Nov. 9th my apparent fertile window was Nov. 10-15th. I am now 7 days late. The weird thing is, I am having no symptoms for either pregnancy OR period. I have taken two HPT and both have come back negative. How common is a false negative, and am I testing too early? Is it too early to have noticeable symptoms if I am potentially pregnant?
Hey thanks for your faith in the health care Magic I have gone through your question and I understood your problem. No its a right time to undergo test and dont panic bout those early signs of pregnancy as you can get them later or you are simply not able to understand them. The false negative pregnancy test is much more common than a true false positive. Many women are excited to find out if they are pregnant and take the home pregnancy test too early for urine hCG detection. The miscalculation of the first day of the next menstrual cycle could also lead to a false negative pregnancy test result. Other common reasons why a pregnancy test could read false when the woman is truly pregnant include waiting too long to read the test and not enough urine absorbing into the testing stick. If the pregnancy test is outdated, the chemicals used to test for hCG in the urine may not work effectively. I will suggest you to undergo ultrasound which will confirm whether you are pregnant or not.Thank you
