How Effective Is Diuretics,anti Hypersensitive,cardiac Glycosides For Cardiac Output?
Explain how the three main classes of drugs (Diuretics, antihypertensive, cardiac glycosides) help improve preload, afterload and cardiac contractility and thereby help to improve cardiac output. Also which medications they used for this 3 classes. thank you

1.Diuretics like frusemide or torsemide are used for cardiac failure ,they lead to increase in urine out put ,there by reducing total volume heart has to handle for pumping .indirectly reduce preload.
2.Antihypertensive drugs of ACE inhibitor group like ramipril, produce peripheral vasodilatation there by reducing load against which heart has to pump the blood.This means it reduces after load.
3.cardiac glycoside drug like Digitalis will increase force of contraction of heart,thereby it increases pumping ability of heart.
In this way 3 groups of drugs improve symptoms of cardiac failure.
