How Effective Is Unwanted Pregnancy Kit For Abortion?

Good Morning Doctor, I am 46 days pregnant now, I already had one boy and one girl, so I gone to my gynae for abortion, she prescribed me norethisterone and told me its not effective, and also asked me to use Unwanted Pregnancy kit from shop, I am confused pls, if you answer me it will be more helpful for me. Thank you. .

Yes norethisterone is not used for abortion, You have to used gynecologist prescribed abortion kit. It should be used under observation of gynecologist after confirming the intrauterine pregnancy of less than 63 days by trnasvaginal USG scan.
It is 99 percent successful for termination of pregnancy up to 63 days but should be used correctly under guidance.
By procedure:
Day1: Mifepristone 600 mg orally after food
Day3: Misoprostol 400 ug vaginally by gynecologist, if required another 400 ug after 4 hour.
Day7: follow up if bleeding is countinue
Day14: USG should be done to confirm the incomplete abortion

Rest for 48 hour, healthy diet with iron and vitamin supplements, analgesic and proper pelvic hygiene should be maintained
Use safe sex practice to avoid unwanted pregnancy in future
