Hello it felt like a pulled rib so I let it go for about 4 days and still had pain so I went to the doctor and did an xray on my ribs. the doctor said everything was fine but gave me a z pac and Norco for the pain also an inhaler. I used all that was priscribed but now when I inhale my rib pops in and out almost by the clavical. does this take a long time to heal? can I do certain exercises and or use hot and cold packs ?
Hi,Welcome to healthcare magic. After going through your query I think your You are suffering fromrib pain due to injury.Treatment of it is rest and analgesics (three times a day after meals). You are already on z pac and Norco so I think it is correct treatment. It may take two weeks time to relief. However you can get your chest x ray done to exclude rib fractures and lung related injury.I think your query answered.Welcome to any follow up query.
