How Effective Is Chemotherapy For Heterogeneous Mass On The Head Of Pancreas?
My dad was diagnosed with a 9.5cm heterogeneous mass in head of pancreas. Stage 4 he is scheduled for chemo once a week for 3 hours, after 3 weeks rescan to see if mass is shrinking. Is there anything else that can/should be done and what is the likely hood the chemo works?

Welcome to HCM. over years prognosis for pancreatic cancer has been poor. It is stage 4 and the sign of the tumor is big.
