How Effective Is Ovitrelle Treatment?
Hi. I had a laparoscopic surgery on 23 september 2013 for fimbrial cyst. i had
a dye test which showed both tubes clear. i have just been prescribed serophene
and ovitrelle 250 mg on day 13 of my cycle. I am not so sure about ovitrelle treatment
and want to know how effective it is. Thank you

Hi,
Ovitrelle contains a hormone called chorionic gonadotropin. It is normally secreted in a pregnant woman which helps in follicular maturation and supports egg development .Injection of the hormone prior to ovulation facilitates the release of ovum,thereby increasing the chance of pregnancy. Hence it is a very useful drug for improving the success rate of pregnancy. All the best.
