How Effective Is Stalevo 150 Mg For Parkinson S Disease?
My mom has been diagnosed with Parkinson s disease (about 10 yrs). She is taking Stavelo 150 4 times a day. this year she felt down many time even when she is with the walker just stand, no walk. Does that mean her Parkinson is moving up to new level? How can help? need to change the med? Thank much!

Hello,
STALEVO 150 mg is a cmbination medicine consisting of LEVODOPA 150 mg,37.5 mg of carbidopa and 200 mg of entacapone.
It is very good medicine combo for treatment of parkinson disease.
What your mom needs is a revision of dose and not revision of medicine.
A person can take maximum of 10 tablets of STALEVO 150 mg per day.
Hence there is lot of scope of increasing and titrating the dose.
You must consult your doctor for this.
