I had an abortion by a nurse in 3 months pregnancy, but it did not work the baby is still alive and now about 5 and 1/2 months and 10 days ago i took abortion again still beleiving that I have fresh pregnancy.. So plz suggest me what to do...is there any harm to the baby....
Abortion pills contain the drugs mifepristone and misoprostol. Both of them have been associated with birth defects in the babies in a few studies. We do not recommend continuing pregnancy after taking mifepristone. However since this is an advanced pregnancy then you may not be able to procure an abortion [ please seek the help of a gynecologist about laws related to abortion prevalent in your country].
In this case you may get a level 4 scan done to determine if there are any visible defects in the baby. Most can be seen by a scan. Amniocentesis is collecting and examining the amniotic fluid to detect genetic defects. If these two reports are OK then the baby is most probably not affected and there is no need to worry.
