Diabetologist 's  Response
Dear Sir/Madam,
The treatment for dog bite is the same in a diabetic as it is in a non diabetic patient. He has to take a full course of anti rabies injections. One thing i would like to add is that if you have vaccinated your dog then putting down a dog just because it bit somebody is cruel. i mean dog's tendency is to bite . its our responsibility not to provoke the dog. Don't worry your diabetic neighbor will be fine with first aid and anti-rabies injections.
