How Is The Body Affected By Heart Arrhythmias?

My husband has been having worsening symptoms dealing with dizziness and arythmya (sp?). He has seen 2 doctors and 2 cardiologists. He has had the following tests: stress test, tilt test, heart cath, a Doppler on his carotid, multiple ekg s. Nobody can give us any answers. He is EXTREMELY weak and tires easily.

Cardiologist 's  Response
Hi,

I understand your concern and would explain that his symptoms could be related to a metabolic disorder or an inner ear disorder. Considering his performed tests, I would recommend checking his thyroid hormone levels for possible thyroid gland dysfunction.

Performing a cervical spine X-ray study for possible chronic degeneration and then consulting an ENT specialist in order to investigate for possible inner ear disorder. A brain MRI study may be necessary too.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards,
Dr. Ilir Sharka,
