How Is The Concieved Date Measured If Foetus Is 7 Weeks And Due Date Is Sept 12 2014?
Hello, today I am about 8 weeks and 1 day pregnant. I had my first ultrasound on Jan. 24, 2014. My last period was on dec. 3, 2013. My ultrasound said that the baby was measuring about 7 wks and my due date is sept.12,2014. I ve also asked about the concieved date, and the nurse had said that the conceived date is estimated about dec. 20, 2013. So, is 7 weeks measured from the conceived date or the last first day of my period?

According to your last menstrual period date (3rd December), -Your gestational age at the time of ultrasound is 7 weeks 4 days. -Your EDD is 10th September, 2014. There are almost corresponding to your ultrasound findings. Regular antenatal checkups and ultrasound examinations are needed to monitor the baby growth. Take folic acid tablets regularly. Take care.
