your son is suffering from upper respiratory tract infection. Kindly take the prescribed tab for total duration. Azee is an antibiotic tablet, given to counteract the infection.
Along with that i advice you for salt water gargaling and steam inhalation.
over the counter syrup like Ascoril will also be helpful in suppressing the cough. I advice you not to givre him cold food like ice cream for few days. He should be fine in day or so.

Your son has got pharyngitis based on symptoms of voice change and cough. So Azee will clear up infection. Ask him to take plenty of water and rest to voice. Add moisture to the air in your home with a humidifier or vaporizer
But as your son's voice is becoming weak, there is possibility of 2 other conditions which needs immediate medical help.
1]. Laryngitis: inflammation of your voice box (larynx) from overuse, irritation or infection. Here there is risk of losing voice completely. Symptoms include hoarseness,sore throat, dry cough.
Needs attention if hoarseness lasts for more than two weeks.
2] Epiglottitis: The most common symptoms include sore throat, muffling or changes in the voice, difficulty speaking, fever, difficulty swallowing, fast heart rate, and difficulty in breathing.
Fever will be present with difficult breathing and swallowing. Needs immediate medical help.

If infection persists even with the drugs and hoarseness presents even after 2 weeks; consult ENT specialist for further treatment.

Your son has an upper respiratory tract infection.Azee or azithromycin is a very good antibiotic but as your son is 3 years old he will weigh around 15 kg and the dose is 10mg/kg body weight which makes the dose around 150mg daily on the first day followed by 75mg on the subsequent days for the next 4 days.you may need to switch to the syrup form in which each 5 ml contains 100mg of the antibiotic

Long term cold is a feature of retrograde infection. You should load him with Vit.C (Succee at least thrice a day). Check for allergies. Using an antibiotic might help, but I would prefer a thorough sputum culture just to be sure what we are dealing with.

hi welcome to hcm.see first if he drink milk then add turmeric on it and give him which also help him .also give him ginger,adusi boil in water then after it become give him which also help him.it may some kind of bacterial infection .as he was not well with homoeopathy then give him the medicine which is prescribed by your doc.avoid cold things ice cream,chocolate.
