How Late A Period Can Be If You Re Not Pregnant?
I was recently diagnosed with gallstones, so I ve been having a lot of nausea and my period is also late, but when I was in the emergency room they took a urine test but didn t say if they checked if I was pregnant. So, I was wondering if they usually check if women are pregnant and also how late a period can be if you re not pregnant?

its mandatory to check pregnancy by urine test first in case of delayed periods before contemplating other causes by a doctor or unless proved otherwise. there are ladies with irregular cycles , but ideally if the cycle is between 21-35 days , and reg its turned a s normal. any discrepancy is labelled as delayed or early accordingly
