How Likely Is He To Become Ill With Food Poisoning By Eating Old Chicken?

We grilled out barbequed chicken on Sunday. Someone put it in the oven and forgot to refrigerate it. My stepson ate a piece today, Tuesday. It s been 2 days in the oven. How likely is he to become ill with food poisoning? It s been an 1hour and a half since he ate it, and no signs of illness yet.

Welcome to HCM. This obviously depends on his inherent defense system and his ability to fight an infection, in any event, I believe that he would have stomach ache and diarrhea and/or vomiting which should resolve on its own, if this happens just make sure that he is able to keep up with fluids and hydration.
