How Long After Birth Control Withdrawal Can One Get Pregnant?
I am 28 years, weight 70kg . I had been using nustrate injection firstly in 2010-2011 November. I keep on continuing and dropping. again I started over in 2015 September up to last year November 2016. now I want to get pregnant, how long it will takes me?
It can take anywhere between 3-6 months for periods to regulate after stopping contraceptive. That is for you to start ovulating normally. Once this happens, you can get pregnant. I recommend : -basal body temperature monitoring (bbtm) and ovulation prediction kits(opk) to detect if and when you ovulate. -regular intercourse (every alternate day) especially in the middle third of your cycle (fertile period) -if you are sure you ovulate and you don't conceive within a year of trying with regular intercourse, then see a fertility specialist to see what's going on.
-if there is no evidence of ovulation (detected by opk and bbtm, then see a doctor earlier to see what's happening. Hope this helps. Wish you good health
