How Long After Emergency Laparoscopic Surgery For Sigmoidplexy Can Roller Coasters Be Enjoyed?

Hello, I had emergency laparoscopic surgery 7/22/14 for sigmoidplexy / sigmoid volvulus where the sigmoid colon had pushed up and twisted off near my appendix. It was sewn into place and I now feel much better. I would really like to great america on all of the roller coasters before I go back to work. How long after surgery do I need to wait before engaging in this type of activity? Thank You, Stephanie

Hello, Thnx to contact us. Congrats for your successful operation. If I am your treating doctor I would like to advice you that the time which you are asking is different for all the individuals, varies from personal hygiene, individual habits and many more things. But in general you should atleast wait for 3 month to not go for roller coaster. If you have anything else to ask please contact me. Thanx. Dr. Arun Tank
