How Long After Having Late Periods Can I Take A Pregnancy Test?
My period was due yesterday/today and the only thing thats happened was I had light pink blood when I wiped after I pooped. Could I be pregnant? We are trying and had sex Jan 16th and my periods have been coming consistently the last 4 months at the same time. I came off my birth control back in March 2014.
Hi, Yes, you could be pregnant. If your periods have been regular earlier, then there is a possibility of pregnancy in this month. The light pink bleeding that you are noticing could be implantation bleeding ( bleeding which occurs as the embryo gets attached and buried into endometrium). Get the home pregnancy test done today. It will in all probability be positive if you are pregnant. The earliest time to detect pregnancy is 8-11 days after ovulation. However it is wise to do the test once the period is missed. Blood pregnancy test is more sensitive and reliable than urine pregnancy test. if you wish you can do this test.
I hope I have answered to your satisfaction.
