How Long After Having Late Periods Can I Take A Pregnancy Test?

hi doctor i am Sunil , i have done unsafe sex with my new married wife without any condom ,and when i near to discharge my spirmi through outside all sperms. its happed before 3 days before period date. Actualy we done sex on 27 january and her periods date aprox to 2 feb. but today is 9 feb and she havnt any period. so we are just worry about unwanted pregnancy. so pleas tell us what we have to do now to check pregnency or if its done when how to stop this . bcoz we r not sure that its pregnancy or not ....

Welcome,
First response can tell you up to 6 days before you miss your period. If you are already late you can take a test to find out. However, the tests aren't always accurate, sometimes your H C G levels may be too low in early pregnancy to show up on any tests you take. if it's negative, test weekly first urine sample ,wait a few weeks.
and if you still don't get your period, test blood for H C G and ultrasound abdomen to rule out pregnancy.
consult gynecologist for physical examination to find out other cause of delayed periods.
