How Long After Having Late Periods Can I Take A Pregnancy Test?

I am 23 yrs old, trying to conceive second child with boyfriend. My last cycle was feb 1-7 and we have intercourse on feb 14. My next expected period was supposed to be March 1 and I took a test which came out negative during evening time since I had yet to get my period which normally comes in the early hours of expected day. I ve been feeling nauseous on and off for 3 days now. Should I call the dr and schedule a blood test?

Thank you for your query.I understand your concern.
Pregnancy test can be done around expected day of period by blood HCG test. Yes, you can plan for it , if you want to get the result urgent.
It is also done by home pregnancy test of urine - after 8-10 days of delay in period.
