How Long After Having Late Periods Can I Take A Pregnancy Test?

My period last month was one day and I'm 3 days late this month. Yesterday I just started throwing up outta no where. Went to the hospital and he said from the sound of the symptoms it's Ulcers but I think it may be food poisoning. What do you think it could be?

I understand your query.
The vomitting you have may be due to ulcer/food poisoning/indigestion and many more causes.but Delay in period in a fertile woman with normal menstrual cycle,& having vomiting - the first doubt goes in favor of pregnancy.
Pregnancy test can be done-
- around expected day of periods by Blood Pregnancy test,( Lab test)
- After 8-10 days delay in periods by urine pregnancy test.( home test)
Once pregnancy is excluded other causes might be investigated & treated.
