Hello dear Understand your concern As you did sexual intercourse in the infertile/safe period of cycle, chance of pregnancy is less. Pregnancy test will give positive result 12-14 days after the missed period from you normal period date. It should be done with fresh morning urine sample. Better tool to diagnose the pregnancy is blood HCG and USG give visual proof of pregnancy.(intrauterine sac/yolk sac) .Tender breast and slight cramp may occur in pregnancy due to increased progesterone. Other cause of delayed period like hormonal imbalance and ovarian cyst/PCOS should be rule out in absence of pregnancy. Hope this may help you Best regards Dr. Sagar
