How Long After Taking Laxative Should Birth Control Pill Be Taken?

How long after taking a laxative, should i wait to take my birth control pill? I should have done it beforehand but ive been worried about bowl movements all week and it slipped my mind. I just started a new birth control microgestin 11 days ago and it took me 6 days to pass a stool. That was after taking miralax for two days . Im still having problems so i just drank magnesium sulfate bout two hours ago. Can the two be related?

Hello Dear. If the gap between laxative and birth control pills is 2 hours its fine. Whether the laxative or birth control pills gets absorbed by 2 hours. Then you need not worry.

Hope i have answered your question. Feel free to contact me if you have any more questions. I ll be glad to help you.
All the best
With warm regards
