How Long Can Bactroban Be Used For Treatment Of Chapped Lips?
Hi, I had really chapped lips which became infected - have moderate growth of Staph Aureus - and have been using Bactroban Cream for one week. My lips are noticeably better, the cracks in the corners of my mouth are gone, but lips still peeling and cracked. Just wondering how long I can keep using the Bactroban for? Thanks!
Bactroban is basically an antibiotic which is effective against staphylococcal infections. Since your infection seems to have healed you can stop using it and instead use some good moisturizer liberally and frequently for your scaly and cracked lips.
