How Long Can Labetalol And Verapamil Control Cardiomegaly?
I have had mild cardiomegaly since 2006 I am on labetalol, verapamil, ramipril and spironolactone plus HZTZ.how long can i expect these meds to control the condition. I walk 3 times a week or more when weather permits.I am diabetic. I had been in a prolonged ventricular arrhythmia before being treated and I had a severe concussion before the a-fib started a complicated group of events. how long before my heart goes into heart failure?

The medication (labetalol + verapamil) serve to control arhythmia and to avoid undesired events such as those mentioned by you.
Also to keep you in normal rhythm will prevent your heart from heart failure and hope this will prolong the time of transforming to heart failure.
