Hi,I am Dr. Amitkumar Sharma (Internal Medicine Specialist). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
How Long Can Motesof-plus Be Used Without Side Effects ?
I developed dark pigmentation around my neck and forehead and earlobes. I was put on motesof-plus and the neck is clearing but the forehead still has some dark spots. I have been on this for the last six months or so. How long should i continue using this cream and what are the side effects? I am a woman of 63 years of age. Thank you.
The active ingredient of motes of-plus is mometasone which is a corticosteroid. Skin infections can be worsened with constant usage of corticosteroids so I will not advise you to continue motes of-plus cream for a longer period. Please consult your doctor before the continuation of this cream.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Take care
Regards,
Dr Prabhash Verma, General & Family Physician
