How Long Can The Side Effects Of A Rattlesnake Bite Last?
I was bitten by a western diamondback ratttlesnake on the toes about a month ago. How long do you think this will take to heal and will I have any long tem side effects. Still have swollen foot and pain in foot in leg even though I spent 6 days in ICU and did get the ant-venom.

Infectious Diseases Specialist, Dr. Arun's Response
Hello, Thank you for your contact to healthcare magic. I understand your health concern, if I am your doctor I suggest you that it is required 3 to 4 weeks approximately to get all the swelling down and there after the wound will go away. Take good care of wound by local cleanliness dressing and antibiotic ointment will cure the wound at its earliest.
I will be happy to answer all your future concern. Thank you, Dr Arun Tank Infectious disease specialist. Wish you a best health at health care magic.
