How Long Could Frost Bite Liquid Nitrogen Take To Heal?

Hi - went to a doctor to have a wart frozen. Some liquid nitrogen spilled down onto the healthy skin below. Contact was for 10 seconds or so. I have a large soft blister on the healthy skin well below the wart and some pain where the liquid nitrogen. Should I be concerned about frostbite and some of the nasty consequences or is this just short term pain?

Hi,
Liquid nitrogen is used for cryosurgery. Accidental spillage as in your case can cause painful blister, but don not worry about it the pain is short term and you can puncture the blister to drain the fluid. Just make sure your blister don't get infected secondarily. If there is any signs of pus formation, consult your dermatologist. You can take some pain killers if the pain is very much.
I hope this will be helpful to you.
