How Long Do I Need To Take Rest In Case Of Tonsillitis?
Hi, I m 17 and felt unwell for about a week, will enflamed glands, but carried on as normal, did hockey trials and felt ok if abit ill after. I went to the doctor the next day and got told i have quite bad tonsillitus and she was shocked i had been able to do so much with it and so am on antibiotics now. How long are you meant to be on bed rest for? I am feeling a bit better and have a hockey tournament tomorrow, would i be ok to play?

The best thing would be to take rest for at least 3 to 5 days. . Please continue your antibiotics and gargle with warm salt water gargle thrice a day.
