How Long Do Side Effects Of Ambien Last After Stopping It?
I have been taking ambien for 5 months ; last week I had short term memory loss, shaking, incontinence, my doctor said to stop the ambien and i still have the drugged feeling , clumsiness i also would occasionally take one lorazepam during those 5 months Is what I am still experiencing withdrawal from ambien or should i be concerned about something more serious?
Hello, Thanks for writing to us with your health concern. Ambien can cause difficulty in concentration, impairment of memory and clumsiness but the withdrawal symptoms if at should not last beyond 10days. If you are having persistent issue then it is highly advisable that you get examined by a local physician and if required get brain imaging to rule out some thing more serious. Looking forward to hearing from you. Take care.
