How Long Does Lovistatin Stay In Body And Can It Reduce BP?
my father is on lovistatin . we see a drop in blood psi aprox 90 minutes after he takes his pill in the morning. and a slight increase after 3-4 hours. how long does this drug stay in the system and can it have an effect on lowering blood pressure temporarily

I would have said that it doesnt affect blood pressure but this is the second time today someone has asked about this. ALternatively it is well known that waiting 30 minutes always reduces blood pressure by people being more relaxed. The drug is about 24 hrs duration of action. There isnt much about it lowering blood pressure, personally I doubt it, but, I could be wrong on that.
