How Long Does A Bruise On The Foot Take To Heal?

Dropped a heavy object on top of my foot. It is swollon on top it is sore to touch and it is purple and it is painful I limp because it hurts to walk. I HAVE TO WORK TOMORROW ON MY FEET 10 HOURDS. Do you think it is just brused and it will be ok in a few days.
