How Long Does It Take For The Diarrhea To Go Away After Quitting Medicine?

I have been taking 40m/day for about 2weeks when I started having severe diarrhea(without blood), fatigue and lower abdominal pain. I stopped taking the medication right away (3days ago). The fatigue is gone but the diarrhea is still there. How long could it take for the side effect to go away?

The drug should not stop without taking advise from your doctor...
Which drug you have used????

You are having diarrhea since 3 days.
It is mostly secretory diarrhea...
It could be by toxin mediated if taken outside food...

Whenever diarrhea along with fluid electrolyte also lost....
So weakness felt ...
So maintain your hydration with lots of water and ORS....
Take probiotics also....

If diarrhea continue then stool examination done for parasitic detection ....
If fever comes then antibiotic needed.

Take small meal with frequent interval for few days with keep in mind to take semisolid food for few days with avoidence of fatty fried food...
