How Long Does It Take For The Throat To Go Back To Normal After A Drainage?
Hello,
I had strep and experienced complications and a throat abscess formed. Had it drained at the hospital last week Tues, but looked into my throat today and I can still see that side they drained still has a larger lump than the other side. I don't have any other symptoms, everything seemed to be fine after the drainage. Does it take time for the back of the throat to go back to normal, or should it have been back to normal after drainage? Thanks
HI Thank for asking to HCM I can understand this, if the pus formation was there and it is drained then inflammation would be there and this inflammation would remained there for few days, but this is nothing to worry it will be fine soon, take care and have nice day.
