How Long Does It Take To Cure From Anorexia And Bulimia?

Hi....I am a 33 year old with a past history of anorexia and bulimia...lately (last year or so) the bulimia is back with full force. I am not underweight but I am so scared that my metabolism will never again be able to let me just recover and be normal. I would rather be normal weight and be like i am now, rather than eat like a normal person and be obese. So, question is...how long would it take for my body to have a "normal" metabolism and is that even possible at this point?

Hello dear

Warm welcome to Healthcaremagic.com
I have evaluated your query in details .

* Current anorexia episode may not be related to past episode of bulimia
It has to be evaluated in concern with current cause and treated in
accordance to that only .
* Usual period of time is around 2 - 3 weeks to recover .

Hope this will help to clear your doubt .
