How Long Does It Take To Heal A Broken Toe?

Approximately how long does a broken little toe take to heal/return to normal ? I broke the toe approx. 10 days ago, in a pool mishap. It was black and blue for a day or two, now a bit red, and still tender, especially when wearing tighter footwear. I have full motion/feeling. Should there be something I can do to help it heal, timely and correctly ?

Hello,

It will take two to three weeks for complete recovery. You have to immobilize the foot. You can use toe immobilizer for the same. You can apply icepacks for faster recovery.

As of now, you can use analgesics/anti-inflammatory combination like aceclofenac/serratiopeptidase for symptomatic relief. You can seek help from an orthopedic for further assessment.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care

Regards,
