How Long Does It Take To Recover From UTI?

I m 35 yr old Male that had two UTI s in the space of a fortnight. Ultrasound of Kidney s & Bladder both came back clear. I was also given a PSA blood test in the first seven days of taking antibiotics for the second UTI. The result came back at 12.6 so was referred to a consultant urologist. He was confident this was caused by the UTI s, and sent me for another PSA blood test (roughly two weeks after the first one), and around a week and a half after the antibiotics finished. The reading had gone down to 10.1. How long would it likely take to return to normal assuming there is no other underlying cause?

Serum PSA is tumor marker for prostrate cancer but it is also elevated in urinary tract infection it usually takes 2-3 weeks to come to normal levels.
At your age of 35 yrs it is very rare to have prostrate cancer.
