How Long Does It Take To Withdraw From Metoprolol Completely?

I m trying to wean off Meteprolol Succinate ER. I have gone from 50mg to 25mg, and just started 12.5mg, every other day...but am having horrible headaches and anxiety is elevated a lot. Will this eventually go away and how much longer should I stay on the current does and how soon can I quit this all together.

Slowly taper the dose in two weeks time. It will get excreted completely in another two weeks. Headache might be due to some other causes and not related to Metoprolol.
