Hi,I am Dr. Subhankar Chakraborty (Gastroenterologist). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
Sir, I have jaundice and I take tablets of liver such as hepakind and hepaguard. But my recent report suggest rise in bilirubin level. I don t have yellow color urine nor do I have yellow eyes. But I have high acidity and fatigue in morning. How much time will it take to cure?
The liver is one of the main organs of the body & when your blood tests are showing higher than normal bilirubin levels in the blood then you will have to keep patience.
How faster the disease cures depends upon the severity of the disease & the response of your body system & pathology to the treatment given. It varies from patient to patient.
Hope you are continuing to take the medications as prescribed. Take only home made boiled food, fruits & veggies to get well faster.
Avoid spicy, oily food. Take adequate water & rest. You can take some vitamin supplements (B Complex Vitamin)for the fatigue you feel. Have patience, take care of your diet.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Take care
Regards,
Dr Nupur K, General & Family Physician
