Thanks for being concerned about your health!
You mention having taken two
nitroglycerin 4 mg sublingual tablets, ten minutes apart. Nitroglycerin usually comes in a dosage of 0.4 mg tablets, that are supposed to be taken at 5 minute intervals, without taking more than 3 tablets in a session.
Please check your tablet package, if the "4 mg" as you've written is a typo, then I'd say that half the drug is destroyed in the body in about four minutes and the side effects that you're worried about, such as ankle swelling and
tingling should not last for more than an hour.
If you have actually taken two 4 mg tablets 10 minutes apart, then I'd say that you should consult a physician immediately for further assistance.
Advil, also known as
Ibuprofen can be taken for
headaches, and I'd rather you take Tylenol (
Paracetamol) for the same, as it will be easier on your stomach in the long term.
