How Long Does Plan B Delay The Periods For?
I had unprotected sex Monday afternoon and took plan b later that evening. I was suppose to start my period Tuesday and I still haven t started. I know the pill will delay my period but for how long? I am also on birth control but wanted to take plan b just in case. I ve heard mixed things about the placebo or sugar pills as they re called, am I still protected when taking those?

The use of the emergency contraception plus the regular use of oral contraceptive would cause your period to be delayed but it is not possible to predict the exact time period.
Once you use your oral contraception daily, you have contraceptive cover and emergency contraception is not needed.
